Martin County Building Inspections

Building Inspections Office

If you plan to change the use of a building, such as turning a clothing store into a restaurant, you may need to obtain a change of use permit. Before opening, the building must undergo an inspection to ensure it complies with all building codes. Any modifications made to the interior or exterior of the building must have a permit. Additionally, any additions made to an existing structure will require a zoning permit.
